I’m reading Jimmy Buffett’s novel Swine Not? The pig’s behavior in the story bears an eery resemblance to our Beagle. Hmm… Maybe we need to have her DNA tested to make sure that she’s a Beagle!

 

I found that I enjoyed Genghis: Lords of the Bow more than I thought I would.

However, I found that my next book,  Rogue Angel: The Lost Scrolls fell flat. I like the Rogue Angel series, essentially, Tomb Raider meets Joan of Arc. It’s not high literature but I don’t want high literature at the end of a long day on the road. I want a twinkie. Unfortunately, this twinkie was stale.

Finally my new book is The Teams, an Oral History of the U.S.  Navy Seals. It’s the evolution of the Navy Seals told by Navy Seals who were there.

I’m hitting the library tomorrow to pick us some new books I have on hold.
