Why is everyone suddenly worried about spending MY money to bail out Wall Street? Why weren’t they worried about spending my money for universal healthcare? Or the fact that it was my money when they worried about the effect of tax breaks? At least Wall Street has shown a long term ability to recover. Wall Street both gives and takes over time. Politicians just take and are then shocked at the results.
